Help Us Build Your New Library!

Our community deserves the library promised by the City of San Diego’s Library General Plan!

The current Kensington-Normal Heights Library is outdated and overcrowded. The city’s Library Master Plan includes a new, modern library for our community and the perfect location at 35th and Adams Avenue, formerly DeMille’s, is now available now but will not last!

Let’s make our voices heard and ensure the city fulfills its promise to our community. Together, we can create a vibrant, educational, and welcoming space for everyone! Sign the Petition for Our New Library!

Hon. Mayor Todd Gloria, Councilmember Sean Elo Rivera, Director Misty Jones,

I, the undersigned, urge the city to prioritize and expedite the construction of a new Kensington-Normal Heights Library as promised in the Library General Plan. Our community needs a library that meets our educational, cultural, and social needs. The location of 35th and Adams Ave. across from the recreation center is a derelict property and offers an ideal location for a new facility.
